What are my chances at getting into UT Austin, Texas A&M, or Texas Tech?

I have a 4.07 gpa for sophomore and junior years, 3.83 including freshmen year. I first took the SAT last month and scored 1870 on it. I am a second degree black belt and had a lot of extracurricular stuff having to do with that (although i had to quit freshmen year). As far a community service goes, well i'm working on it although i have at least 100 undocumented hours from the martial arts. I'm in my schools philosophy club. Also i will be doing hundreds of hours of an internship with southern california edison at a nuclear powerplant throughout my whole senior year. Problem is i live and have lived in california my whole life (hence the socal edison internship). So why would i be looking at Texas schools? I am deadset on petroleum engineering and the best programs are with these two schools. I know they get most of their students with the top ten percent texas schools thing. So as a californian, is it a good possibility i could get in?

What does this have to do with preachers, pastors and priests, specifically? First of all, this guy was not a priest. However, the fact that he is a clergyman is irrelevant. Plenty of people in many different walks of life who feel insecure and unimportant manufacture stories like this. Is that a reflection on their profession? Their nationality? Their ethnic origin? How can I spot a fake Jane Norman dress?

I bought a dress from a seller on Ebay and I suspect it's a fake. The description on the listing says the tags and labels were removed for legalities, so there is no logo on the dress and I don't know how I can demostrate that is a fake (provided that it's a fake). The reason why I believe that is that the quality looks poor compared to Jane norman: the fabric is real light and you can see trough. Also, where the label should be, I expected to see some signs of the label being removed on the back of the neck area (stitches holes, for example), but there is nothing, it looks like there has never been a label. My Xbox recently got RROD, so now I'm getting a PS3 and have some money to get a couple games ($128.05, to be exact). I am really into RPGs, because I like to customize my character. I was really into Dragon Age: Origins when I had it, but I only got through it once with a rogue because I couldn't kill the Archdemon (I sucked and gave up). MTG Good green/white deck?

I concur, this deck has to many one of a kind cards, with no main focus. Pick a "win condition" or a good combo or a specific card to center the deck around. Keep the deck to about 60 cards, put 20-24 land in the deck and play it to test it. Look at decks online (try using google search for "Elf Deck Mtg" or something like that) Get some good ideas and run with it. Best of Luck.

Breastfeeding with tubular breast?

i have gone through hell to continue to breast feed. this is my third child. with my first two i half breastfeed and half formula feed. they were fine with switching back and forth. i have tubular breast. they are spread far apart and are almost all aureola, and are long tuberous shaped. i saw a lactating consultant with my first and all they told me was to pump after each feeding and keep trying. it was to hard to do and i was only 17 when i went trough it the first time. now i am very determined to breastfeed. for the first 3 weeks i was trying to breastfeed exclusively but my daughter was not gaining any weight so i started half and half again. after i had a surgery complication and was hospitalized for 2 weeks and i pumped and dumped every 3 hours i knew i want to keep at it. i got about 24- 26 oz a day while pumping.. my baby was 2 1/2 months at the time. she is now 3 1/2 months and for about 2 weeks she has been refusing the bottle when i go to work and leave her with my mom she fights her to not take the bottle ( she loves the breast) i even got her breast like nipples.. but she only wants to breastfeed. yesterday i breastfeed her all day and she seems content.. no crying other then right before she goes to sleep in the late evening. she is having many wet diapers but no poop yet (she pooped 2 times the day before yesterday). even though i have been maybe 70% breastfeeding her for the last 2 weeks. i have been taking fenugreek 4 capsules 3 times a day trying to increase my milk and i think its helping a lot. im just worried that she isn't getting enough.. since she refused the bottle.. and i don't know how much milk im making now.. could she be ok since she seems happy and normal even on breast alone? or should i continue to fight her to get her a bottle or two a day? need support.. please

my droid 2 was outside for a couple of hours (its about 70 degrees out so i don't think it overheated) and the sprinklers were about to come on so i brought it inside. I woke it up and saw that i had a bunch of notices at the top. I started to unlock it when the red light at the top turned on, it vibrated, and powered off. It had 90 percent battery so it didn't turn off due to that but now i can't get it to turn back on. I pulled the battery and that didn't work so i plugged it in and it still wont start up. I have a question about a cousin I'm worried about? (please read it)?

Most of the people I would have to say 99 percent of the people in my family went to college in my family and did something with themselves and are successful, but I have this one cousin who is almost 30 years old, doesn't have a driver's license and has never been on a date in her life and has cleanliness problems. Like she doesn't take showers, brush her teeth, or or her hair. My other two cousins from my aunt are just the opposite they take care of themselves and keep themselves in shape. The cousin with no license is in college, but she doesn't do anything and she weighs 200 pounds and is six feet two inches tall she's the tallest out of all the girl cousins and she just stays in her room on the computer. Everyone in the family wants to help her when we see her this summer. My cousin who has done something with her self and keeps herself in shape asked if she could talk to this cousin with all these problems. All my cousins are in their 30's I'm the youngest I'm 20 years old. It's just when my cousin who keeps herself in shape and who is sucessful asked the my aunt the mom of the cousin who has all these problems if she could have permission to talk to her and ask what she's gonna do with herself her mom said no and it would create too much drama. So as a cousin do I keep my mouth shut or rebel and try to talk to this cousin with problems and risk family drama or just stay out of it and let this cousin who's almost 30 act and behave like a helpless five year old till her parents pass away and she'll remain helpless.

I got a new horse a couple weeks ago. When we went to the girls house to pick him up he was awesome, I climbed on his back, bareback and he was fine...we got him home and wanted to ride with a saddle and bridle and stuff, well he tacked up well but when we tried to get on him he stepped away and wouldn't let us near his side, finnally we had my cousin(who is tall) lean on him and put a little preasure on his back to see if that was his problem, and he reared up!! So we thought maybe he was just just nervous from the move. We put him in the pasture and let him calm down, I went out there and just brushed him and stuff, then my mom held him and I jumped on his back bareback again, he was fine! So we thought everything was ok. But latley he is being a frickin jerk, when I try and get him to groom him he holds his head WAY high, he pushes me all over, and he just troughs a fit. So when my mom was trying to worm him he threw his head and so she made him walk in cirlces, then she tried again and he reared again!!! (We didn't. Get a chance to worm him cause he kept rearing) then yesterday I got him out to brush him, I was tieing him to the hitching post and he reared when I was right there by his shoulder!!! Now I am a beginner rider, so I don't know what to do, I jumped back and when he came down I tied him up and made him stand there till I was down brushing him and all that stuff, he was troughing a fit the whole time. Know we do have 2 mares, who wer. Whinnying when he reared up at the hitching post, but they wernt any of the opther times.... whay is he rearing, andhow do I stop him, its dangerouns amd scary, I can't hit him on his poll cause I'm not on him, and I can't just work him after he rears cause he won't let us on him! What's his problem, I mean he's a gelding and when we seperate him from our mare he acts like a stud, and when we do stuff with him and the mares still in the pasture he is just a jerk, and no matter what if you try and make him do something he doesn't want to he rears, what's wrong with him and hpw do I stop his rearing( and I'm not flipping him over backwards so don't even suggest it) thank you!

People say thatthe Lord of the rings books are for adults.... I read them when I was 11 and understood them GREATLY. I KNOW Lord of the Rings is better, but do you? I personally think George Lucas and JK Rowling copied JRR Tolkiens masterpiece story line. Think, a nobody trying to realize his destiny (Aragorn first, Luke second, Harry Potter third.) The JERK Peter Jackson made everyone almost as pansie as Luke. Lukes always all "Why ME?" and "Not Again!" and yet these little 12 year olds find him "THE GREATEST HERO EVER." More storyline, a strong but small group (first the Fellowship of the Ring, then the "rebellion" then Dumbeldores army) trying to do the unthinkable. An old guy with a magic force who greatly loves the young (Frodo, Luke Pansie-walker, Harry Potter) these old guys all have magic powers (Gandalf, Ben Kenobi, Dumbledore.) And when it comes to fighting, Lord of the Rings characters would anihilate them all. Being in the time of swords, axes, and bows, they are all VERY strong and brave. Wielding a sword or axe for 3 days straight in ONE siege takes MUSCLE. Harry Potter people flick their arm and wield a twig. For 2 minutes.
